Yeah yeah, we know, not all mother in laws are dry and sour. Some are actually quite tolerable

maybe even sweet. But you get the picture. This Belgium style farmhouse ale is brewed with Japanese

Sorachi Ace hops and spiced with Coriander, Orange Peel and Grains of Paradise. Thanks to special yeast

type it is dry like English humour. Or your mother in law. Imagine her sourpuss face when she is

not happy with you. That’s exactly how you feel when drinking this pretty Saison.

Oh boy, somebody stop Ronald. He is getting way out of line. He is like one of those crazy horror movie doctors experimenting in their basement. You just hear the mad laughter and sit watching both terrified and in awe what’s next. Well, here it is. Another flower power sour. This time brewed with pilsner and wheat malt and real apple juice in the kettle to create a cousin of farmhouse ciders. Big Bold has then been matured on delicate orange Marigold flowers with French oak chips. An extra dry hopping with Nelson Sauvin hops creates even more subtle fruit flavours. If all this sounds weirdly wonderful, that’s because it is. Subtle. Fruity. Refreshing. Mad.

Bury the smile in your arse is a lovely Finnish expression warning against the perils of excessive happiness. We at the Nomad Brewing Company frown on such advice and encourage smiling wide, even when the shit hits the fan. Wow, picture that. Keep those lips turned up although the beer is so sour your gums hurt and you feel like eating fresh rowanberries, lingonberries and blueberries. Just remember, it’s good pain, and keep grinning like a mad man. Going a full circle with the Finnish expressions, we’re sure you know what the fox said about the rowanberries. That’s right. Sour.

What’s going on with that name? And a pink label! Man, this has to officially be the girliest looking beer ever. But don’t be fooled, this baby is a true funky sour. She is brewed with pilsner and wheat malt and with fresh rose hip juice in the kettle and rests on Hibiscus flowers and French Oak chips. The extra dry hopping with Nelson Sauvin hops adds the final touch. The result is a very fine, refreshing beer with beautiful flavours from the carefully picked ingredients. It’s amazing what a hard work it is to create something so subtle!

In the wonderful wide world of beers there are the testosterone filled macho brews. And then there are beers that are oh mine so fine that they almost slip into the wine category. As you may have guessed by the name the Gosh it’s Posh Elderflower White Wine Sour is brewed with white wine grapes and elderflower resulting in a delicate beer which is slightly snobbish but hardly hoppish. The posh fresh taste  fits perfectly the soirees,  matinees and other fancy occasions you frequent. Or damn it, chuck it down in your underwear and be who you are.

On his quest to bring posh wine style beers that perfectly accompany your red carpet soirees, Ronald has again lifted his pinky finger and created a red wine sour. It is brewed with white wine and elderberries for the delicate aftertaste and the nice read colour. Dry hopping with Nelson Sauvin and then maturing on the French oak chips add the final ooh la la touches. How elegant, how refined!

Ooh la la, may we share this rare love affair with pear? Quel elegance! If this is not l´amour at the first sip, then your poor black heart must be completely dried up. Brewed with French perries, matured on French oak chips and hopped with Nelson Sauvin this bébé is very French indeed. The easy sipping, soft tasting,   elegantly balanced Debonair of Pear works as a gateway to the dangerous world of sours. Consider yourself warned, when you open that door, there is no turning back. Au revoir!
